Rocking Robins Maids are happy to announce. We have almost reached this years Thanksgiving goal of 100 cans of non- perishable food. With only a week before Thanksgiving we now more than ever should do our best to help those in need. We are half way to our clothes goal of 50 full sets of winter wear. There are a total of 77 non-perishable foods donated to a local church here in Paoli Indiana. Love Never Fails United Christian Church 8359 IN-56, West Baden Springs, IN 47469 (812) 788-0441. We have one winter coat outfit and one sweater outfit. A total of 20 pieces of clothes. The Thanksgiving donation drive is in need of more winter clothes if we want to keep the needy warm. A full set is one shirt, a jacket, a pair of pants, one pair of socks, and a pair of shoes. Any and all sizes are welcome, old or new we take them all. Sadly, Rocking Robins Maids was not able to donate to Habitat for Humanity in Paoli IN. They do not have a local spot that is accepting donations. All donations picked ups and dropped off at Love Never Fails united Christian Church. For future donations any local church or origination accepting donations in Paoli IN. Rocking Robins Maids will be looking for other places to donate to in the years to come. If we start to donate to any of them we will inform you on our next donation update post. Many families are still cold and hungry. Still wearing their summer or fall clothes in the winter. They may have a hoodie or jacket, but nothing heavy enough for the snow that is to come this winter. Thanksgiving dinner supposed to be a feast, but for many out there it is a struggle to put a simple meal on the table. With your donation you can help a family have a normal Thanksgiving dinner. A donation is not only helping the needy, but also the planet. Clothes that reused or recycled Don’t end up in the trash and the less trash the less waste in our oceans. Clothing production is a massive contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Donate your old clothes. Instead of them wasting away in a land fill. They can bring warmth once more. With your help families don’t have to spend money on clothes for the winter. Instead they can spend there money on more important things, like food and shelter. All donations are collected as part of our cleaning service. We do not drive to homes that only call to donate. We collect donations from your home for your convince. Help the needy get fed and warm while your home is clean for Thanksgiving. Please leave a note where your house keeper can find it. Saying you have a donation and where it is.
